Australia's most prestigious Private Members Club: The Brisbane Club, is in search of a qualified Wine Cellar Assistant for their multi-award winning Wine Cellar.

This sought after role records and monitors the movement of wine and beverage stock throughout the Club, as well as providing Members access to our premium wine collection. 

This is a unique opportunity to learn from hospitality experts, and grow your operational knowledge.

The minimum experience required for consideration:

• 3 years experience working within a 5 star beverage or wine environment.
• Above average computer skills, preferably at tertiary level.
• Exceptional domestic and international wine knowledge (this is non-negotiable).
• Superior work ethic and job commitment, including excellent personal presentation.

This is a Monday to Friday role with some evening work required from time to time.

Skills Knowledge and Experience

• High level skills and experience in Cellar operations in a private members business Club
• Previous demonstrated experience delivering high quality cellar (including wine and other beverages) services to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Demonstrated experience in Cellar budgeting and financial management skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary human resource management and workplace health and safety principles for the food and beverage service industry
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
• High level critical thinking, decision making and service improvement skills
